For anyone who doesn't have heavy-duty towing or off-road needs, buying a full-size SUV doesn't make a lot of sense. Within full-size SUVs, choosing a less capable mid-size SUV that has been unnaturally stretched doesn't make much more sense. But among the five GM quintuplets that fit that description, the Ascender makes perfect sense. With all other factors equal, why not go with Isuzu's better warranty?
